原作小説の舞台・護衛艦「いそかぜ」は、海自護衛艦全イージス化の先駆けとして
大規模近代化改装 ( FRAM : Fleet Rehabilitation and Modernisation )された
ミニイージス艦という設定ですので、「こんごう型」イージス護衛艦よりも
試験艦「あすか」型に似ています。
